Triennials:
All-Class Reunions

Every three years the Reno High Alumni Association hosts an All Alumni Reunion Picnic. Click on a year to see our photo album for that event!

The History of Our Triennial Picnic

The summer of 1996, an All-Class Reunion picnic was held at Rancho San Rafael Park in Northwest Reno. The main purpose of the Association Picnic was to publicize the newly formed association and recruit members.  Also, to raise money for the Alumni Association Building being planned for later construction.   That picnic went so well that the then Board of Trustees decided to make it a triennial event, every 3 years. After the success of the 1996 and 1999 picnics, then President Joe Granata campaigned to make the move from San Rancho Rafael to the Reno High School Campus.  He proposed that Reno High School be open that day for tours along with the newly constructed Alumni center, where Alumni can go down memory lane and share their stories and memories with others. We have been doing this tradition ever since minus the pandemic year 2020. It is a great way to catch up with old friends and make some new ones. It is also a great way to show your children and grandchildren a small piece of your school years. Come and join us at our next Triennial Picnic and make some beautiful and lasting memories.
